AMD R9 295x. First GPU to have integrated water cooling with the manufature.
Pics of the build once it's done. |

Although I am not saying you're not going to buy it, I personally don't think your building a PC that is as expensive as a graphics card.
Someone that is droping a load on that budget should know variety of graphics cards by now and their pricing.
This seems like a "attention seeker" post to me.
Sorry if I am wrong. |

I built a computer last year with an i5 4670k and a GTX 770. It was around $1500. |

PC budget $1500

GTX Titan FTW
Why are you asking 10 year olds?

GTX 780 I think. I've seen builds with an i7 4790K and GTX 780 being 1.5K but I could be wrong.

| With a name like FunkyFireMonkey, I can't guarantee you'll be over 11. |

GTX Titan is terrible for the price, even though it can max out all games. A card for a hell of a lot low price could easily match it (e.g NVIDIA GTX 780Ti, R9 290X and 295X).

780ti and the latest i5 should be able to fit in that budget. Give me a second.

That should be able to play 4k medium/low or 1080p ultra pretty easily. |

@dans
wouldn't trust an AMD reference GPU even with water cooling, but its still a great card
@OP
it would depend on your specs
for 1.5k i'd suggest this build
case can be filled in for a case of choice, as it put the budget over by 13 dollars
/p/9NTkWZ not including an OS or peripherals, as much raw power you could fit in 1.5k
/p/KDXwyc includes peripherals but has different specs
also @anyone who mentions no OS or no disc drive, god knows if he wants to buy an OS and if he can he can salvage an old ODD from an old desktop |

@jhonny
No. I would. AMD won't sell it if it won't perform great.
The temps on those two GPU chips on one card is 60 - 70 degrees Celcius user load. |

AMD's reference design for the 290X activated the high temp. throttle on it, greatly limiting its performance |

@Jhonny
Did you not read what I said? I said it performs in about 60 - 70 Degrees under FULL load, and doesn't throttle because it has water cooling on it.
To educate you a little bit of this card, I STRONGLY suggest you watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEgsG_wl0kc |

What would you rate this on a scale of 1-10 on a 1k dollar budget? |

You can get watercooling when and if you decide to overclock. I picked the cpu I did for the speed it is already at, not for it's overclocking capability which it has. |

| Not bad, but I don't like the fact that more was spent on the processor than the gpu. |
