| You're never going to get anywhere if you can only know one language at a time... |

| Syntax-wise... not really. But pretty much every language is "the same". Java has methods, functions, variables, tables (which are called "arrays" in like, every language other than Lua) and everything that Lua has. |

| See this is where it gets interesting because you are basically learning two languages at a time! Doing this will help you see computer programming in a different perspective!! Kinda like when someone is bilingual. So if you ever need help learning Lua just PM me! I started out doing JavaScript to make websites! Now I'm at roblox! |

"I started out doing JavaScript to make websites" "doing JavaScript to make websites" "JavaScript to make websites" "to MAKE websites"
You're either lying or used bad wording. |

| It's possible to use JavaScript to make websites. Just make a command-line script (lol command line javascript, so unused) that will output a bunch of files to represent a node.js website. There, you've used Javascript to make a website that uses a Javascript server. |

| If you seriously know Java, then just kill a few million brain cells to be here with the rest of us. |

@ezt12: I am quite sure Lua tables are called "tables" because they are not arrays.
Aren't they more similar to hash maps? |

| Notunknown: Not sure. They achieve the same thing by any means. |

| Also LuaWeaver: I'm not talking about server-wise, I'm pretty sure he's talking about making an actual interface (which isn't possible, to my knowledge, without the use of HTML) |
