(Well, I own all the Arkham games [but never played them] and I am watching Batman the Animated Series, so I decided, why not do something similar to Arkham Asylum but set in the year 204(something), with Terry McGuiness? So, I took some of the lesser known psychopaths that could have been set in Batman Beyond or could have lived that long, and made this.)
"Baaatman? Oh Baaatmaan!" says a condescending voice, unfamiliar to you. You open your eyes, but the only thing you can see is the faint outline of the ropes binding you to a kitchen chair. "Wake up and smell the roses, Batman!" A light comes on, only powerful enough to illuminate one spot on the small table next to you, revealing a small black object, about the size of a bullet. The ropes around you release. "Welcome to Arkham, Batman! Enjoy your stay!"
>(Free choice, makes private ISRP. Recommended you have watched Batman Beyond and know at least something about Batman lore.) |

| Would be better if you did something similar, though without the Batman Beyond part. Have the original Batman get rekt, then have people make their own character to take up the tights and cowl. I don't think Batman even wears tights anymore, honestly. |

| (That's kind of overdone, man. And that kinda gets rid of the whole Arkham thing, unless you expect the villain to mistake them for Batman.) |

| I haven't seen a Batman ISRP in a long time, so I wouldn't say it's overdone at all. The Arkham thing wouldn't be gotten rid of since the player-character is dressed up as Batman and is Batman and probably sounds like Batman. Besides, having someone roleplay as a character already set in stone is fairly dumb, and they'll probably do a bad job at it. |

But people play as the pre-created Batman in pretty much all batman games.
Also, I meant that the plot is way overdone. There's even an MMO, called Gotham City Impostors, with that exact plot. Plus, it's been used many times in Comics, movies, television, and so on. |

| This isn't a video game though, this is a roleplay. The plot of Gotham City Imposters is people with guns dressed up as Batman using knockoff gadgets. The plot I'm suggesting is Batman dies and specifically tells the player-character they need to be the new Batman, and then gives them all the gadgets and the cave and the Alfred. |
