| Big Bang. Quantum mechanics likely behind it. Doesn't matter anyway. Why worry about something that's "impossible" to find out? |

| My belief is that a deity created it, and this may have been in the form of a big bang. |

Personally I believe it was created. How is the mystery. |

| I think if you look at all of the amazing creatures such as the Snow Fox that changes coat color to blend in with the seasons, or electric eels, or those fish with the lights in front of them... The list goes on; There must be a creator. |

@brett, The Big Bang theorizes that a microscopic atom just exploded and then came the universe over billions of years.
To me, an intelligent creator is more plausible than the Big Bang. |

Big bang
also to all those saying that nothing can't come from something,
how did your god come from nothing, something had to create your god..
HM maybe Spode created your god. |

"To me, an intelligent creator is more plausible than the Big Bang."
How so? That some random person showed up (that we don't know how he was made, I can use any argument you use about how did the big bang happen against you)
And then created the earth and all the other 1 million + planets and stars?
Also that there is no evidence what so ever to prove he is there/real? |

"How so? That some random person showed up"
Okay, then how did the atom just 'show up'.
"And then created the earth and all the other 1 million + planets and stars?"
Intelligent design. TO ME, its more believable than a miniscule atom bursting into the universe.
"Also that there is no evidence what so ever to prove he is there/real?"
NO PROOF, but archaeologists have dug up sites that align perfectly with the biblical stories of Noah and a couple others I can't mention on ROBLOX.

Really, because there has been NO proof of any archaeologist findings that haven been proven fake or a hoax. So please share some sources.
Yes intelligent design, God literally makes people have terrible diseases and life illnesses, your saying that God purposely created my friends cousin with autism and terrible other diseases that will not only make her life terrible, but painful and never being able to actually life.
How did your god just show up? You try to dismiss my argument and return with another argument. This is Tu quoque, a logical fallacy. Another logical fallacy is you think the burden of proof is on me, when you have made the argument, I have refuted all of your arguments and I will continue when you actually anwser the question of
"Where did God come from?" Your previous argument implied that something CAN'T come from nothing, then how did something(God) come from nothing? |

If you can't prove how God got here, the other argument has just as much proof.
If god can come from nothing, so can the universe. |

>The Big Bang theorizes that a microscopic atom just exploded and then came the universe over billions of years.
you made the classic layman's mistake of seeing the big bang as an explosion...
in the begging the universe was a singularity like a black hole. Things like time space and matter did not exist. Nothing exists before the singularity. there is just that singularity, a point of infinite density but also infinite potential. physics as we know it it not exist ant this point. The singularity was governed by quantum physics. now quantum physics allows for events with trivially low chances of happening certain if something has infinite potential. this trivially low event was the creation of the Higgs boson happens to appear along with time, space and 3 dimensions. Now everything in the singularity has mass, space, time and 3 dimensions now the ball starts rolling. Inflation kicks in and space expands, The unified force breaks down. Matter forms, time starts acting on everything. The laws of physics come into play.
tl;dr causality did not exist before the big bang so asking what caused the big bang is a moot question. It did not need a cause, it just happened. |

you people should stop thinking that evolution and the big bang say anything about whether or not a creator made the universe. it's irrelevant.
Statistically speaking, there's a good chance that you're part of some organized religion (ex: christianity). If this is the case, you're not merely making the assumption that a creator *has* to have created the universe. You're also assuming that it's your creator.
Yes, one might, in all of our subjectivity, argue that the snow-fox is a fancy looking animal. But is that really relevant to the question: "oh do god(s) exist?"
The snow fox is like that because of the process of evolution. How complicated and/or 'cool' you think it is, is entirely subjective and doesn't really say anything about whether or not life was (originally) divinely created.
