**** TL;DR at the bottom ****
As many of you know, TRICON has been an ongoing development project for 5 months now, today. I returned to this game after playing Mass Effect to hope to bring something new to the clan world -- to set a legacy that can leave a large echo throughout inspiration. I've wrote draft after draft, idea after idea, guideline after guideline, and so forth to make sure the infrastructure of this clan can be what I aimed on: perfection.
Alas, perfection is not something easily obtained. It takes a lot of work, **patience**, and planning. I have put enough of these three necessities into this clan to the best of my ability. Unfortunately it's not enough.
In the start of TRICON, development was great but our infrastructure wasn't thought out well. It was rushed and sloppy, and I fixed it later on. Boy, am I glad I took my time with this. If I had released TRICON in April like I originally aimed, it would've been disastrous. Anyways, overtime our development slowed down -- especially during the summer. I originally thought: finally, summer. Now people have enough free time to work on their projects without the stress of exams. Turns out my prediction was wrong. Nothing was getting done, a few developers left, but they were easily replaced. A few weeks ago I hit a goldmine and recruited three awesome architects, and I was really happy. Alas within the next week, they all left. Warzynski couldn't find the time to work on a project, Corogl left because I couldn't get pictures of his project (Liberty Island layout, even though I eventually got him all the pictures), and TntBoy left because he as well couldn't find the time. Zusik left recently because as I predicted, he had lost inspiration for TRICON.
So what now?
To answer honestly with the best of my ability: I'm not sure. I've had tons of ridiculously unreliable developers who would join and say "this looks cool dude, I'll help you for sure! Glad I can be aboard," then at a month and a half later (at the tip of the most) leave and say they can't find the time they initially promised, without showing any work effort. So I've pretty much given up on recruiting developers (other than the ones we currently have of course, you guys are awesome) due to their unbelievable amount of unreliability. I've been attempting to build myself in studio, but so far it's not going well **at all**. But hey, I'm trying at least.
I do my best to try to not overwhelm my developers by giving them small tasks (besides FriendlyBiscuit since we have probably the widest amount of ideas for scripting, sorry dude) like a room, or a very small outpost (this is probably the thing I mostly assign first since I want to get one of the bases done) -- but not even THAT can get done.
Anyways, I think my rant is over just about now. It's 3 AM and I felt like I should spew this out since I'm seeing a lot of questions on TRICON at the moment.
tl;dr I'm trying to figure out a solution on how to make sure TRICON keeps their development going, but I'm pretty much out of ideas other than trying to develop myself (which is not a possible solution I believe since I'm really sucking at it, so don't suggest it UNCLEAR, or any other developer recommending so). I don't think I should try and pay people now to develop for me since my run ins with people like Morgee123 and Zuf have ripped me off before, so yeah. Til' I can find a solution I'm playing PAYDAY 2. You got a solution? Post it.

"You should make your own language"
TRICON is studying the language of the sunken civilization of Atlantis -- it's really easy to do when they're dead in the water |

I'm not here to argue, but what Seviro here just posted has a major flaw.

I see similarities to Vydrak here, both of you initially talked big about the clan, summer release and all but what have we got so far, nothing lol Vydrak put in even less effort though |

| Suggestion: Don't "hire" people. You need to recruit officers/developers who you know will stick with you and won't leave for something else. These officers ain't loyal. |

The best idea is to stop stalling and actually get moving. Start and finish the outpost and the scripting-it shouldn't take THAT long, much less a month. Get the administration set up Just do the work you're doing nothing right now and its been like that for the greater part of the last 5 months. You've just been getting and trashing ideas because you're indecisive. I get that, but it'll get your group into a slump.
Just.Do.The.Work.
Best idea is to find a good map on a videogame that you want as basis for your outpost, and work with that.

If you want quality development, pay for it. If you're concerned, wait until they're done and use a middleman. I understand you guys are strapped for cash at the moment, but that's really the only option.
