the brain produces different levels of electric activity depending on the amount of information it is trying to take in
when processing info, it lights up with electrical charges as it sends and receives messages at a high concentration, and the neurons respond fast
these brainwaves are electrical info that are measure in hertz
8-30 Hz are common everyday frequencies processed by the brain
lavender town theme music plays tones in a much higher frequency, then suddenly switches to low frequency, confusing the neurons and thus causing 'traffic' in the brain that causes pain, as if your brain was trying to process super-complex problems |

it isn't a "placebo effect"
it is just alternating brainwaves (via lavender town tone) that confuse the brain while it is trying to process both high and low amounts of electrical activity at the same time |

"now im tired"
some of the notes are notes that your brain only processes when you are in deep sleep
so your brain probably assumes that you are sleeping, so it will act as if that were the case |
