There are so many different mentalities of thinking within this community.
To me, it would be interesting to see all war group ideologies put together as a sort of starter guide for future generations of players who want to start clans of their own...assuming this game will be popular in the future, of course.
A few people have even wrote entire essays on this forum explaining different ideas concerning clan governments, ways of thinking of the clan community, etc.
Maybe I'm being a bit try-hard here, but to me it seems like a great idea.
Would it be?

All clans think differently
very few noble-enough deeds that are important clan-wise have taken place that make for morally justified ideologies to base future clans off of
so no |

| Because there are many bright people in the clan world and C&G to have this idea be put through. |

Not really, but there I wouldn't get into specifics. Just the general idea of them.
Democracies, monarchies, and despotism.

While most lectures from intelligible/philosophically coherent C&G'ers are correct, not all leaders are inntelligible.
I'd love to make a clan with a HICOM of just the smart C&G'ers I meet. |

@Senior
I would agree with that to a point, though I feel that there are certain people on C&G who have created things similar to ideologies, and have done things that have impacted the community.
-MeowMixxed -RodgerDodger -SunTzu
Those are just a few examples.
@Yello
Despite what most think, there are people on this community who are intelligent.

| Oh, I am aware of the intellectual bunch in C&G, but compared to the entire community itself, it is a small percentage. |

I might actually hunt around and try to fish more information concerning this topic.
Another thread about this may spring up in the future.
Continue discussion.

It's a little simple as to why this never happened.
In the real world we are almost obliged to follow certain rules, as a country.
Here we can get away with absolute monarchy, despotism, anarchy, "communism" whatever it is kids think it is, and democracies.
With that in mind you can mix whatever you want and run it any way you want to. Which is why it is difficult to categorize the different government types.
Most are constitutional monarchies. With the leader being impartial to most musings and rants from the common folk.
we can categorize but we can't get too specific

From my experience, most of that sentiment extends from the fact that people on this sub-forum can act unreasonable, considering this is the place to talk about clan politics, no matter how petty the issue...
This is the internet, after all.
Though, a lack of manners does not necessarily parallel with a lack of intelligence.
It's just that certain people didn't teach their kids civility.

@Kaboose
Which is why this place is so interesting.
I can agree that navigating the extent of themes and ways to rule a clan can resemble a jumbled up mix of random irl ideologies stacked together like a Big Mac.
Though, chartering that jungle is what interests me so much.
I feel that giving this community a bit more organization would be a positive contribution overall...
It would make this very complex RP community a bit more open to newcomers.

Trust me, I tried working out a system to find a good officer that lasts. Too many variations in each clan, and since we can only predict based off of specific traits and not every single trait, the individual matters. When predicting the future mapping out trends of the mob is what matters, yet in this situation, since it falls under the HICOM, the individual's traits matters. There are way too many traits to map out, plus the variants in types of clans and their leaders. It could take a while to be done but it isn't practical as it would hardly be anywhere near correct predictions.
Plus, having the same layout for clans would be boring.
Plus plus, people would make an effort to not follow our guide in order to make their clan stand out. Meaning any clan that'd be successful wouldn't use it, rendering it useless, yet useful if made practical. |
