"Mystery Murder"
The game is played in short matches that have a countdown timer.
One player is chosen as the murderer, who must kill the other players using his knife (that can be thrown to make it more original) to win.
Another is chosen as the officer, who must kill the murderer with a gun to prevent the murderer from winning. If the officer dies the gun is dropped and anyone except the murderer can pick it up to become the next officer (to make the game not too easy for the murderer).
Rest of the players are innocent and must avoid the murderer and help the officer detect who the murderer is by trying to witness the murders when they happen.
The countdown timer should get more time whenever the murderer kills someone to pressure him to murder people (so the matches wont get boring, and so time wont run out if the murderer is actually doing well)
You should probably give people fake identities and hide their real roblox username and appearance so theres no bias against anyone, and itll make it feel more realistic too.
Multiple maps is a must to make it fun over multiple matches.
You could then maybe sell some in-game credits so people can buy cooler guns/knives and stuff to make it profitable. |

Think about it. You're going to spend a bunch of time learning and developing and testing for this game you're about to create. I'd personally:
1. Start Small. You'd be surprised how much effort it will take to do even the simplest game.
2. Build Something You Like. Again, if you're going to spend time on it, you should like it.
3. Once you have at least five ideas you'd pursue, then come back and solicit opinions.
Good luck. |

Try to think of a game type that is not overused in ROBLOX or a game type that is dead and needed to be revived.
(I'm not trying to advertise any game here in my post. I'm just telling you examples.)
Examples of game types (that is not overused or dead) are; 1. RTS game type. Some RTS games are dead and only few players are still playing it. If you are going to do this, think of a way on how you can make yours better. Example games of this game type are; The Conquerors by HatHelper, Control RTS by Weeve, The Little Men by earth100 and a few more. 2. Team vs NPCs Battle Adventure type. The game will have a story and the players will have to reach the end in order to win. The players will have different types of weapons assigned for them and their enemies will be NPCs. Examples games of this game type are; Contamination by qwerty1806, DATINE's Reason 4 Life of course, by DATINE, and a few more. 3. Team vs NPCs Battle type. Just like the "Team vs NPCs Battle Adventure" type but the players' mission is to survive countless waves of enemies and after a few minutes, an escape vehicle will come and the players who goes in the escape vehicle and escapes wins. Example games of this game type are; R2D (known as Reason 2 Die) by Place Rebuilder (which is currently alive and on the front page) and Outbreak by qwerty1806.
Be unique and please.. don't make another game that it's type is overused and unoriginal. Examples of this are; murder games, roleplay games, tycoons, obbies, ZOMBIE games, survival games, and war games. |

| What's been the largest NPC enemy you've seen on Roblox? The logic required to either create a loop based attack or smart based would be interesting indeed. |

| Pretty hard stuff for the NPC's. I might just continue with the tycoon I made. |

I'd Suggest Make Something That Is Finished But Work On It More. Like Take An Uncopylocked Game And Try To Rescript It. Your Welcome.

| Next time when asking for game ideas, include information on how well you can script and build and if you're planning on putting much effort in a game idea you're asking so the game design community will give you ideas based on the information you've given us. |

| If you can't make a game of the game types I told you, I suggest just continuing your tyxoon, but make it unique. By unique I mean.. not just a regular tycoon game that all you do is step on buttons. Make your tycoon strategic and challenging. |
