working out muscles makes them sore; it causes micro tears in the muscles. if you do the exercises on a regular basis, your body will start to heal the micro tears more quickly and that's how people build up muscles.

i tried going to a cross-fit class once but everyone in my age group didn't know what they were doing and the weights were low.
why would i want to deadlift 50 pounds wtf |

| it helps with practically every muscle. if you do it right you should be able to lift at least 75% of your body weight. |
