If you think about it theres alot of benefits like a more mature audience, better games, and possibly way more users than it already has.

Also for Steam Users they could trade their Robux/TIX for steam credits.

This is an interesting question. Why doesn't ROBLOX join steam?
Here is my answer: ROBLOX is browser based.
I know there have been other browser based games that have come to steam (realm of the mad god comes to mind) but you have to consider that the majority of things ROBLOX happens on the actual site, and not in-game.
I could see ROBLOX Studio coming to steam as a 3d building platform you can share with friends online. But that's it. There really is no point in putting a browser on steam, lol.
Furthermore, I believe Valve takes a cut of all profit made on games on Steam. So, if ROBLOX gets money from people buying BC, Steam would get a share of it as well.
I also want to add that ROBLOX isn't very appealing to most people. I consider ROBLOX to be geared toward a kid audience, rather than a more mature audience like the users on Steam. The most popular games on Steam have to do with fighting and killing. ROBLOX has to do with building with legos. Quite a difference.
To summarize, I believe not many people would shift to play ROBLOX, there is no point to add it to Steam because ROBLOX is mainly a browser game (unless they solely add the building aspect of it), and ROBLOX would lose profit, and ROBLOX has a steady source of profit so they don't need another audience to show their game to on Steam. |

I was hoping people would respond by wanting to see more games like Silence and Apocalypse Rising on Roblox.

Maybe ROBLOX puts featured games on Steam but not the whole thing itself?
