I'm at the standard website but it doesn't show.
Also, what does it mean by 5+ years of experience?http://hire.jobvite.com/CompanyJobs/Careers.aspx?c=qXr9Vfwc&v=1&page=Job%20Description&j=o3IrXfwT |

5+ years of experience means that they don't want to hire and pay new people who are inexperienced and don't know what they're doing. It's similar to hiring anybody: it would be preferable to hire someone with more experience rather than hiring a brand new guy trying to get his first job in that field. |

Hi Valkronos,
ROBLOX staff are consisted if 18+ yearold adults who work for ROBLOX as their job. Howeve, the ROBLOX Image/Forum Moderators are consisted of average people like us who have been apart of the community for a long time and have a good track record on ROBLOX. Who knows, maybe someday we'll both be moderators!!
-Hope this helps! |

I'm pretty sure ROBLOX hires interns. Although I think they're unpaid. You should tweet or ask or email someone who handles this.

If you are majoring in something pertaining to what ROBLOX needs, maybe you will be hired as an intern ^^ |

| And valk is referring to image/forum moderators. Those are paid people 18+ years old who moderate the decals and posts on the forums. I'm sure you really don't need any experience to qualify lol.. |

"ROBLOX Image/Forum Moderators are consisted of average people like us who have been apart of the community for a long time and have a good track record on ROBLOX."
This is not true. When we do hire moderators (and we're not hiring any at the moment) we don't necessarily hire from the community. In fact, most of the time we do not as those with long tenure on ROBLOX also tend to have conflicts of interest (i.e. friends -- or even detractors -- on the site who might influence their moderation decisions). Our moderators have significant experience working in and with online communities (not necessarily ROBLOX). Moderation is not a position for those with no experience at all.
Open positions are posted on our Careers site (corp.roblox.com/careers). We post intern positions from time to time -- these are generally for college students who are studying computer science or related fields. (We do not have intern moderators.)
If a position description indicates a number of years experience required, that means post-college. (So five years experience = five years working in the necessary field following graduation.) |

That's where you find open jobs for ROBLOX. If you are a college kid you have to be really experienced in your field to be hired probably. Without a lot of experience, I think the only thing you can hope for is to ask for an internship if you have shown desire and experience and expertise in the field of the job. If you haven't shown desire, experience, and expertise and you want to work as an actual employee (like a dev), I recommend finding an internship that does not ask for experience or try to do something yourself that shows your skills (like if you wanted to be a 3d graphics designer, get your name out there with some designs you made) |
