In a game, you can control the volume of the game to you only. If you don't like a certain noise that is annoying, you would be able to just turn the volume all the way down. If you're trying to watch a movie on your computer or listen to music from it but there is a loud noise on the game, you can turn the volume down so you can hear the music/movie.
This would be extremely helpful to me and others too. |

@Zeph I sometimes am watching catching fire when I'm out of the game or killed, but people are killing other people, jumping, and things are exploding and it's really loud so I can't hear the movie. |

I don't have a volume mixer, and a lot of others don't. Downloading one can keylog you if you don't download the right one, or give you viruses. |

Its default on Windows (see the speaker thing on the bottom-right hand portion of your screen?). And if you do it once, the volume for ROBLOX stays off. And if you have a Mac, apparently you can download some stuff.
If you aren't going to take 3 seconds out of your life to do this yourself, then that is your problem, not ROBLOX's. |

@Zeph People may be in a sword fighting game, and it's too loud, and they don't want to turn their music off, but turn the volume for ROBLOX off. If they did that, they would die. |

To everyone that keeps saying to use the volume mixer on your computer, that doesn't always work for people. If there's annoying music in the background and you want to listen to your own music, you can definitely use the volume mixer to mute the Roblox music, but it also mutes any other game sounds. If you didn't like the music but (let's say) you wanted to hear the jumping sounds, the slash of swords, or whatever, you could maybe have sliders on the options menu that will mute the music but leave the sound on for other noises. |

I use a mac a lot more than I use my windows 7. My dad doesn't let me download stuff to my mac because he is worried it will take too much memory or give me a virus. This mac is new, and he doesn't want anything to happen to it, and neither do I. |
