@fire
People played it, but it didn't seem to pick up popularity until it closed, so you're right there. |

| The only reason Club Penguin was given blame was because Disney mentioned it it in the FAQ of why Toontown was closing. People got upset and decided that instead of blaming themselves for not doing anything when it was still open, they'd blame something else. I thought it was a good idea that Disney closed it to be honest. If you're not going to take care of the game anymore, you might as well get rid of it. I also could tell someone would open up another Toontown eventually knowing the community. |

| I'm not going to lie though, Club Penguin is still a piece of crap. It's probably one of the biggest kid-friendly ODer nests known on the internet. |

Exactly.
Also, I love how everyone was like, "IM NOT GONNA BUY ANYMORE DIDNEY PRODICTS!1" when they probably are anyway. |

I never played toontown. I had no interest. I've given up on Disney games. I only go on once a while to cp. I love Disney...but not their games. Disney has never been successful at making games anyways. The only success was club penguin, and all they want for that is money. They shut down virtual Disney, and everything else except club penguin. Honestly, I think Disney should back off the video game industry. Leave it to others Disney! You already run a giant park that kids of all ages love and a channel on TV! You don't need to spend time on this! In my opinion, club penguin is, and will always be the center of Disney gaming. Not even their character thing for Xbox beats it. Club penguin is the center piece for Disney gaming, things will close for club penguin, and many more are to close for that one game Disney refuses to stop running and puts all it's industry for gaming money into. Face it, no other Disney game will ever be as successful or as paid attention to as club penguin. Get over it. |

@Vaporeon
Disney Infinity is pretty much Disney's twist on Skylanders I imagine there will be more games like it in the future because selling the figures separately seems to be profitable enough to warrant 2 Disney Infinity games and 4 Skylanders games it seems more like a money grab to me but I won't lie I enjoy Skylanders |

@Vap Disney infinity isn't a computer game I believe. It sold well and was Sidney's first actual hardcore gaming set success. Virtual Disney is sorta a sky landers competition , so it's got a long way to go. Plus, it doesn't need constant updates like club penguin. Any other computer game Disney makes under club penguin is likely to die out eventually, as again, Disney's best selling computer game is club penguin. It's their top on gaming to. I'm pretty sure Disney infinity is in between. It's well sold, but again, it doesn't need as much attention. Disney can make one or two of them to compete with other portal like games and wait a year or two before they have to make another one, whilst club penguin needs constant updates to stay at the top. |

I played it in 2005/2007 and I kinda liked it. Tried it again in 2012 and hated it. |

@Son CP was always nice. I honestly think people just outgrew it. When I was 10 before I discovered roblox and more free items/stuff I felt worth wasting my money on,CP was my favorite game to play in my free time hours.im not going to lie. I enjoy sky landers also, though I'm not a big xbox player anymore.
I've played Disney infinity before...It's pretty cool as well. Though honestly, if roblox does what I think they're gonna do and make roblox an xbox game... Disney Infinity and skylanders will be in for competition. |

@Gosh I played 2009-10 after poptropica
As for 2005... I literally was only interested in kids paint stuff... But that's because so was 4-5 years old. When I hit 7 I started xbox gaming, then finally in 08 I got interested in poptropica...played that for a year went to cp, then here. A bit of Minecraft, but not online Minecraft...because my brothers took accounts under the emails I wanted to sign up on. |

You can't say it'll always be the center of Disney's gaming production unless you know that for sure. And I'm sure that you don't. In fact, not even Disney themselves probably know. There could be a new game in the future that could become WAY more sucessful than Club Penguin. Unless you know how to predict the future and see Disney's soon-to-be releases, you can't say such a thing.
I also wish they stayed away from Pacman. Dear God what have they done.
Nintendo should have taken Pacman if anyone was going to. They made him look awesome in SSB4. |

ToonTown as a great game before they started restricting free players way more for example, after 2010 or so they updated it and if you didn't want to pay you could only have up to level 3 gags and only one extra gag track apart from the two you start with |
