Would anyone know where to start with a character creator like the one in apoc but not that advanced?

Create a new "Part", and change the ControllerService.

Actually, my suggestion is unnecessary, just set a variable to the Player's Character and change the BrickColor of the Player's limbs or anything else from there.

That's too "unclear", what kind of "Customization" are you trying to achieve?.

Then, I would suggest using a "Part" with a "Mesh for the Ears,Eyes or anything else. I would also suggest using tables per "Class" and "Race".

Make sure it's inside of a LocalScript and the LocalScript is in somewhere such as the StarterGui or StarterPack.
