| Well.. I can tell you this. ROBLOX may have found a way to fix the sword glitches, when you stop for .5 seconds, by making the individuals go ahead and change the script. BUT, that is not what I am here to discuss. I have two topics to be shared. 1. Player Points. ROBLOX, if you are going to make some of us work THIS hard to get SO MANY Player Points, why not do something with them? Make Player Points an accomplice to Robux, to where you can buy items with Player Points. This was requested MANY times before, which I have taken into consideration. 2. Updated Weight. This weight.. Man.. It has ruined SF and Obbies. Many places with obbies are getting screwed, because when you have a 2x1 block floating in mid air, off a wall, etc.. You slide RIGHT off of it. I do realize that there are ways that you can prevent sliding off, but, that isn't the case here. Not many people know what to do when you have the weight update plus obbies. It is total disaster. In SF, you slide right into the player's sword. SF with Obbies is even worse. You slide, slip, fall, respawn, and do it all over again. ROBLOX, please, fix these updates. For your fellow Players, that keep ROBLOX running. |

Player Points aren't meant to be some kind of currency. They're supposed to be a kind of achievement, something that developers can award to their dedicated players.

| I understand that @lego, but that is why we have badges. PP should become an accomplice to Robux, so Roblox could have other ways to buy stuff. People would buy PP, so that means more money for Roblox. |

Tix and R$ are the only methods of payment ROBLOX needs, though. PP may be similar to currency, but they're meant to encourage developers to reward their players, as well as to encourage the players to work for a more widespread, common source of achievement. They're a way to show off your experience as a gamer and fuel global competition. That's why there are leaderboards for Player Points.
Let's compare badges with Player Points. Badges can only be created with 100 Robux and BC (plus, they're gone once BC expires). These restrictions don't matter much, though. The main reason I feel Player Points are more popular is because they're not just little achievements for each individual game. With PP, each participating game contributes to one huge competition/achievement. Player Points go to certain games' leaderboards, to players' profiles and to a single, overall leaderboard.
It's like comparing merit badges to nobel prizes (ok, not the best example, but I'll go with it). Merit badges are more for locally showing off (something like saying "Hey, Timothy, I can put up a tent!"), while nobel prizes (or any big awards, now that I think about it) are a way to show your effort and achievement to EVERYONE (and the local area, if that's all you want).
I think I know why you want this, though, so I'll mention it. You want to be able to get something with PP, correct? If so, I don't think adding them as a currency is the solution. Maybe getting rewards for the Player Points you collect or something, that would be a nice little cherry on the cake, and THAT I would agree on.
TL; DR Player Points are meant to be an entirely new and fresh way for players to, just, achieve. They're not some new currency for the catalog, they're more of just a global enterprise of, well, bragging rights and competition.

| I think pp's could be like on Xbox, where you can trade gamerscore (whitch you earn in games) for microsoft points (whitch you would normaly buy.) So basicaly, replace gamerscore with pp's and microsoft points for robux.And since pp's are harder to earn than tix whitch you only have to login everyday to get 10 you could get 1 robux per 10 pp's. |

Supporting topic two, gonna ask about one.
So, PlayerPoints, or PP. Basically, it's supossed to be an achivement, right? The whole currency thing is also a bad idea. While that'd be pretty cool, people can cheat their way through the system using PP's to get items. Roblox would then LOSE money earned from the buying of BC+ and Robux. So, sorry guys, that's probably not going to happen. What Player Points could be used for is in a game, where as lets say you join a game with a certain amount of PP's, (Depending on the game maker... and most games actually already do do this.) Okai, lets think about this. (Omg I don't even know how to make this understanable, I'm so sorry.) Lets say I join a game with 67 PP's. The Maker of the game decides that player points would be cool for getting who knows what in it. Now lets say we up that a level, and make it on the website. So instead of games you're broadcasted (Like in an Ad or somthing.) about how you supossedly the most playerpoints on the leaderboards. This will then boost up the rate in which you may be veiwed. This has some flaws, however... people will cheat the system. So I really don't know what to tell the guys that want to make PP's into a currency. I support both one and two but one is not going to happen. |

| Eh.. I understand your point, but Roblox would LOSE money? Eh.. Not really. If they made it able to purchase CERTAIN items only. Meaning, if players did not have enough Player Points, they could then buy it, to get more quicker. I don't see how they could "cheat the system". There really is no way of cheating the system if Player Points are available for purchase. |
