(I know it's off topic but hey I need answers)
I need you to answer this question properly. If you know the answer, comment it. I will tell you the answer after a couple of replies. Now read on
A father is taking his son to school one day in his car. On the way there, it crashes and the father is subsequently killed. His son is rushed to hospital. Upon entry to the hospital, he is admitted to an Operating Theatre where he awaits urgent surgery. However, the surgeon comes out and says "I cannot operate on this boy, he is my son".
How is this possible?
Also to clear things up first, the boy doesn't have two dads or two mums. He isn't adopted either
If you've participated in this before, don't answer please |

Thanks for clearing that up with the other people, it does actually mean that
@big
No, that would make the boy the surgeons grandson, the boy is the surgeons son |

You mean a stupidly easy answer
The surgeon is the boy's mother
This experiment is all about how people have become so accustomed to assigning gender roles they often don't consider gender roles. Thanks for participating guys, and thanks for your time :) No flaming in the comments please, you have a problem with this then please PM me |

| @xbox, it's okay. I did it on Tumblr as well and got pretty much the same answers. To be honest, it was more about bringing appreciation that in thes modern times, gender assigned jobs need to be re-thinked cx |
