Fellow ROBLOXians of the S&I forum, you may agree that there are a number of users who begin threads to this forum in complete disregard to the WNTS or forum rules.
Might I suggest we add a Pop-Up? Upon finishing your text input for a new Thread, a pop-up window appears that breifly lists the forum rules and WNTS. The user must agree to the pop-up for the new thread to be posted, and if they choose not to agree, the pop-up will close and they can go back to editing their thread, in which case they may finish there and the cycle repeats; Agreeing to the rules and WNTS or not agreeing and going back to edit mode.
But, why limit this to only S&I? Perhaps all forums could show the rules before someone posts a new thread!
The benefit of this pop-up should remind all thread posters who may have not read the rules already, to read them now. However, you probably already guessed that many users know the rules, but have a complete disregard for them anyway. That issue is one that will have to be dealt with in another manner; But the idea I have suggested should at least help to lower the amount of users who aren't quite aware of the rules.
Thank you! |

Why have it after? Why not before they take the time to write the post? ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ |

@xbox The point in having it after writing is it being an actual agreement to go ahead and post the thread. It just makes sense to me, I guess.
@kawa You don't support, however not all forum Rules are as long as the T&C (which I proudly read half of when i signed up in 2009), and it should only take a moment or two for users to read over the rules before posting the thread. It should give them a moment to think about what they want posted. There are a lot of users who would gladly read the rules but just haven't seen them yet. They may all be Stickies at the top of the forums but not all of them say "Read Before You Post."
@bestbuddy It should be given everytime as I reminder. There is no point in only asking once ever for each forum. |

| It's another bump, yes. Sorry, but I'm seeing a lot of WNTS posts. Hope this helps fix that. |

No support at all. I mean, let me ask you a question. Whats the biggest lie of the universe?

@Markpalmer
You're looking at this so narrow-sighted. Only seeing the bad side. Posters can use this pop-up before posting to allow them to review the WNTS or forum rules real quick, and if they did something wrong, go back and tweak the post to make it right. The pop-up can also be shown to users who haven't read forum rules yet but actually may want to.
It can be more helpful than harmful in any case. |

@CatBoy
I can see it being annoying to those who post thread after thread after thread continuously, but what's the point in that anyway? There's probably 5 more just like it anyway. |

I usually forum and post quite actively.
I think I'm a bit faster then the floodcheck in some cases.
It would be annoying for that to pop up every time I try and make a thread.
