Pros: Rocket jumping Characters move more realistically when a force is applied to them.
Cons: Swords stop horizontal movement when lunging Bricks become slippery Bullets occasionally knock you back You sometimes shoot off in a random direction when knocked against other players.
So my question is this; do you think the new physics should be kept, or removed? |

I don't think it's much of a "keeping" or "removing" debate. I feel that we should go more along the lines of fixing it.
Robloxians should have more footing s they don't slide unless they're acted on by a strong outside force or have a fast walkspeed. Plus, swordfighting needs to be fixed, because there is no "realism" in planting when you lunge; all that happens currently is ties because there is no room for maneuvering. |

Cons: Swords stop horizontal movement when lunging - Please read the ROBLOX Wiki article: sword lunge change Bricks become slippery - I've seen this on group recruiting plaza Bullets occasionally knock you back - Not for me You sometimes shoot off in a random direction when knocked against other players. - I've only seen this once at my place

| I could live with it being fixed. At least the slippery bricks, because the swords are easy to fix yourself. |

I've been playing, and I've almost never slid. I did slide a bit on a telephone at the pizza place, but that's no big deal. |

the bullets and swords are a bug in your scripting that was not previously shown and had a pretty big impact because everyone copied the same damn bugged script
you have to change velocity part to something i don't remember

The classic guns and sword scripts are about 6 years old at this point. I'm more amazed this was what broke it over the fact they broke.
Anyway, threads like these are incredibly useful threads, so I shall add them.
I haven't heard anything about a GOOD use for the physics, but I know that, if what they're saying is true, then it's something we need. |

I say they need smarter and more customizable friction. -Humanoid.Acceleration -Humanoid.Deceleration
-Players.DefaultAcceleration -Players.DefaultDeceleration
It will fix everything, and create a lot more possibilities. |
