Heyo, Suggestions & Ideas! Here today I have an idea for mesh rotation.
My idea for mesh rotation is to give the ability to rotate meshes on ROBLOX. This would make many processes with meshes much easier.
How would it make it easier?
1. It will allow ROBLOX to rotate their hats that they make without editing the Hat position properties.
2. Some meshes on ROBLOX are faced in a direction that they do not want them to be faced, this would help with switching those meshes around for users who whom want to do so.
3. And for an obvious reason, it'd just be a unique feature to have here on ROBLOX. I think it has the possibility for new exciting creations without the edit of CFraming bricks.
So that's my idea on mesh rotation. If you like the idea be sure to support. Thank you!
I might remake this thread later in the future when I can come up with more great reasons to have this. |

It should still be compatible with Vector3 values, though. (Like position, Rotation, and CFrame in blocks) |

| That's what I had thought it to be. Just a Vector3 value in the mesh properties. |

| Well, to my knowledge, they removed most of the mesh offset functionality because people were making inappropriate things with them. People might find a way to continue that behavior if they have this ability... |

Those people could still CFrame those meshes anyway to make dirty things. I'm not saying we should have user created meshes. I'm saying instead of CFraming the meshes, why not a simpler process?
My point is. Either way, they have the tools to make something dirty no matter what. |

| That's true, we do and always will have the tools to make inappropriate objects, it's pretty sad people even make that kind of stuff. I support this suggestion 100%, I hate how the Cylinder MeshType faces the X axis, I want it to face the Y axis like the CylinderMesh. |

| it's stupid because theres these things called rotation matrices aka CFrame.Angles , so if you could just take the 5 or 10 minutes out of your life to figure out how to rotate and move bricks we're all happy and the world is a bit smarter |
