(and not some moronic teenager who thinks he's edgy and crap because he bashes religion)
i believe in atheism due to the fact i see no evidence to suggest that there is a god/goddess. however, i'm not going to slam a persons beliefs simply because they don't match up to mine. people with religious beliefs are perfectly fine and it's actually good to have something to have faith in.
believing in something like religion doesn't make you an idiot. bashing someone because they do believe in something does make you an idiot. |

I believe in God because I see no evidence to suggest that there is no God/goddess.
This could go either way. |

@Alte
"I believe in God because I see no evidence to suggest that there is no God/goddess."
Even if that argument could be used for.. well, anything, might I be so rude to point out that you're still making one vital assumption: That it's your God.
Why can't it be Zeus & Co? Odin seems like a nice guy, too.
On a separate note, can't you use that logic for.. everything? There's no evidence to suggest that goblins or ghosts exist, but they don't seem to have as large a following as most religions. Why?
So no, it doesn't go "either way"

@Exonical
But what would you stop me from saying that ghosts and goblins DID exist. You have no proof, but then again, nor do I, so, it does go either way, and just because a outcome would seem illogical in one situation, doesn't mean it wouldn't be in another.
If you have some time, look at this, it's quite amazing.

That's my point, Ridicule sir.

A book might claim that 2+2 equals four, but that does not mean that the rest of its content is automatically correct. A single verse does not represent the entire book. And that's the only thing it dealt with. A small portion of a very large book.
That video of yours tries to validate the Quran by illustrating the supposed similarities between the back end of a leech and a human embryo at 22 days.
Even if we were to assume that this is a correct illustration (if you ask me, the two pictures don't even look remotely similar), I fail to see how it proves the existence of Allah.

It's still correct, is it not? I'm looking for a few videos in which I can give you to further my proof, I'd like to have a general, good debate. I like to debate. |

It's no belief in god(s).
Opposite of religion. |

As Bill Maher put it: Atheism is a religion like not smoking is a habit.

Religion : the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
Does this sound like atheism^^^ |

...no?
Buddhism by it self is non-theistic, yes, but Hinduism isn't. Hinduism is polytheistic- not atheistic.
