With philosophy, you are free to ponder on the meaning of life and other questions, and you can make a meaning for them by yourself.
With religion, the fun is ruined, you are given what to think, and you are not allowed to stray from that path. |

| Protestant Christianity is literally the least strict religion on Earth... You can literally go your whole life without praying or going to Church, as long as you pray before you die, and boom, Heaven. |

No.
Religion would give you the motivation to employ in scientific expeditions in order to confirm your beliefs in the religion and whether that religion is accurate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jw_Bkoe5HQg

That's because the Bible doesn't say if you don't go to church you go to hell, or if you don't pray you will go to hell. The Bible says you get saved by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior |

| Not really, if you did good things in your life you can still go to heaven. Catholic people believe of another place like heaven and hell where people who had sins but were good would go there, then go to heaven after being purified. It may also happen to people who believe in God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but who has tons of sins. |

If you kill people and you are generally sorry yes you will go to heaven if you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour, and no this doesn't mean you can go around killing people and just say sorry everything cease obviously you wouldn't be meaning it, so therefore you would be lying, which is a sin.

If you reject Jesus Christ you will go to hell |

“Judge not lest you be judged'' - muh bible
Therefore, since you've just stated, if I committed a massacre, but showed remorse however, you would still assume I'm lying, which as you've just said, is a sin. But what if I was? Have a good look at that quote.

Written in several transformations of the bible:
''Mattityahu 7:1-3 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
7 Judge not lest you be judged.''
''Matthew 7:1-3Revised Standard Version (RSV)
Judging Others 7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?''
''Matthew 7:1-321st Century King James Version (KJ21)
7 “Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?''

| I stand by my original point. With religion, you are given all the answers with no need to think. That example was no exception. |

Yet there's nothing in any religion which states you cannot be intellectual, rather, in Islam, it says the opposite. I am inclined, and many others, to make scientific achievements in the name of my religion in order to further my religions stability and to confirm my beliefs, which is why I read books about Islam and scientific expeditions and Youtube videos and such to confirm my beliefs and to make my prouder.

yeah sure but you need to read on
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
What it is saying is do not judge people if you are doing it yourself, like someone preaching about lying when you are doing it yourself, the bible is saying GOD will judge you for that.
if there's anything you need to know about this ask |
