But that's it.
And the 8 spots will be given all to CONCACAF, AFC, CAF, and one to OFC (so they don't have to play in a playoff anymore)
And this is going to be 2022, 2026, or later, when this happens |

| The World Cup doesn't need to expand, it's good how it is. |

"In October 2013, UEFA President Michel Platini proposed that the World Cup finals should be expanded from 32 to 40 teams starting from 2018. The format would be the same as now, being groups of five instead of four.[16] This was in response to FIFA President Sepp Blatter's comments that Africa and Asia deserved more spots in the World Cup finals at the expense of European and South American teams.[17] However, FIFA general secretary Jérôme Valcke said that expansion in 2018 is "unlikely","

Honestly I'm in favor of expansion to 40 teams but no more, not even 48 It's alright at 32 but there's too much UEFA/CONMEBOL representation and too little CONCACAF/AFC/OFC/CAF representation for how much representation Europe and South America get |

| I think 32 is enough. I don't want to watch some mediocre teams get blown out by the big powerhouses every year like 6-0. |

| In my opinion, teams such as Jamaica, Egypt, and Uzbekistan wouldn't get blown out like you're thinking |
