3 more weeks of regular season OFL, what a rush this has been. In the East, the playoff contenders have essentially been decided, with the exception of the fight between the 2-2 Snowhawks, the 2-3 Raptors, and the 1-3 Panthers. Very excited matchups. Let's go to the board.
Bruisers @ Spartans: Going to be quite a game, with Spartans starting QB going up against the former team. Bruisers defense taking a hit with the dismissal of GillsHD and Nuzo, but seems to have recovered a bit since Week 4. Spartans are strong, but I have the Bruisers pulling this one out in overtime, 41-35.
Raptors @ Snowhawks: Both of these teams are likely to make the playoffs, but who will get the #3 seed? The fight has narrowed down between these two teams, and it seems that if the victor of this game will have claimed it. However, with this win the team can also launch a campaign to shoot for the #2 spot, giving home field advantage. With the powerhouses of the OEC, it seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened. With the Snowhawks many transactions, its unlikely to see where they stand, but I've got the Raptors pulling out a close one 36-30.
Panthers @ Huskies: After the Panthers bye week, where are they standing ability-wise? They are without their forever long leading WR GalaxySupernova, but have acquired all around player Mikewestkiller. The Huskies have also been building a team, with the new Head Coach, me! In my opinion, I won't go rambling on, but I being completely unbiased as possible, have this one going to the Huskies for their first win. The Panthers need this win to remain in the playoff picture, and a loss this week may eliminate them from the race.
Ducks @ Warriors: The Warriors had a strong showing last week against the depleted Barton secondary, without their #1 CB and leading receiver, NightTrainn and Raider95nation. The Ducks however pulled out a close one against the Raiders, who are a very underrated team in the OWC. The Warriors are very, very hungry for a win, I've got the Warriors winning this one 31-26.
Punishers @ Firecats: We've been waiting for this matchup all year long, and it's finally here. Two of the best QBs ever to play the game fighting it out for the #1 seed. The Punishers have been bragging their defense, but will it hold up for Eddy3D and MrMackHD? Rookie Freshboy2228 is making quite a run for RoTY, racking up huge rushing yards in just about every game. However, I've got the Punishers defense winning this one out, 59-42 |
