Okay, hold up. 1. You don't know if it's an Android tablet. 2. If it WAS an Android tablet, why is it a bad choice?
iPads are made by one company. Android tablets are made by several. If you criticize Android as a whole for a single company's fault, you're dumb. |

"1. You don't know if it's an Android tablet."
I do because op hates Apple
"2. If it WAS an Android tablet, why is it a bad choice?"
Android is trash, sorry
"If you criticize Android as a whole for a single company's fault, you're dumb. "
Android is garbage created by google. Therefore, all iterations and modifications of it are garbage. |

1. Not stable 2. Viruses are even a possibility on Android 3. Lack of tablet-only applications 4. Carriers control OS updates 5. Lack of support for old devices 6. Piracy is too common on Android 7. App quality is low in comparison to iOS apps |

1. Not stable My brother's iPhone 5S crashed on me a few days ago.
2. Viruses are even a possibility on Android It's a hell of a lot more open than iOS. This is expected.
3. Lack of tablet-only applications What kind of apps aren't tablet-only on Android, but are tablet-only on iOS?
4. Carriers control OS updates If Google controlled the OS updates, many phones would break. Many angry phone calls would ensue.
5. Lack of support for old devices Much like Apple won't help you fix your iPhone 3GS
6. Piracy is too common on Android >cydia
7. App quality is low in comparison to iOS apps Examples? |

@thenooby imo just stay with google play edition devices and you'll be fine too bad it's not as easy and worryfree experience as apple's stuff is though |

"My brother's iPhone 5S crashed on me a few days ago."
My 5s hasn't crashed on me at all, sorry but isolated incidents mean nothing.
"It's a hell of a lot more open than iOS. This is expected."
Security > open
"What kind of apps aren't tablet-only on Android, but are tablet-only on iOS?"
Too many to list, but most iPad applications are actually built with iPad in mind rather than stretching a phone app to fit the screen
"If Google controlled the OS updates, many phones would break. Many angry phone calls would ensue."
That's so sad
"Much like Apple won't help you fix your iPhone 3GS"
Much like how iPhone 3GS had 4 supported iterations of iOS supported by it. Show me 1 android phone with that many updates.
">cydia"
Jailbreaking and piracy are not equivalent. |

"Security > open" Are you using a Mac, or Windows?
"Too many to list, but most iPad applications are actually built with iPad in mind rather than stretching a phone app to fit the screen" I have never ever seen a drawing app made for a phone.
"That's so sad" Open source.
"Much like how iPhone 3GS had 4 supported iterations of iOS supported by it. Show me 1 android phone with that many updates." Mini updates or real updates? e.g. iOS6 to iOS7, or iOS7 to iOS7.0.4 |

"Are you using a Mac, or Windows?"
Both. And both are as secure as the other.
"I have never ever seen a drawing app made for a phone."
There are tons. I use my iPad exclusively for drawing.
"Open source."
You probably have no sensitive data that you could lose anyways
"Mini updates or real updates? e.g. iOS6 to iOS7, or iOS7 to iOS7.0.4"
Real updates. Every iPhone since iPhone 3GS has supported 4 major versions of iOS
"I spent MONEY on this."
dang you spent $20 |
