I think Britain should celebrate it, too. We got the better deal in the end. |

| It's amazing how a bunch of inexperienced colonists along with the French army were able to defeat well-trained Redcoats. |

"It's amazing how a bunch of inexperienced colonists along with the French army were able to defeat well-trained Redcoats.:
it was a combination of guerilla tactics, foreign support from not only the french, and the fact that it took 3 months for any ship to cross the atlantic |

The American militia knew the land they were living on Most of the British army didn't |

Well, it isn't really when you take into account that:
1) The British Army wasn't large enough to physically conquer and occupy the vast amount of land that comprised the 13 Colonies.
2) The British supply line stretched 3000 + miles across the Atlantic ocean, and that troops, money, ammunition, supplies, and other war materiel all had to be shipped into America from outside, giving the rebels more time to prepare.
3) Declarations of war against Britain by France, Spain, and the Netherlands globalised the conflict, which diverted British resources away from America elsewhere.
And probably a few more reasons... |

I don't think you know what 'international' means.
But then again, maybe other countries do celebrate 4th of July with the Americans? I don't know.
That would be nice. Every country just celebrates BBQs. |

I'd imagine countries that helped them in the war against Britain would but it's probably a USA-exclusive BBQ club |
