Yes Roblox can actually transport viruses. I used studio earlier and opened a free model and one of the first things to pop up on the list was "Virusss" so yes it can

Actually its hard to believe it but yes roblox does have viruses See with the open game servers we have going on when we play the games ppl can send viruses straight through the open servers for example i had got a brand new Touch Screen Pc and after playing roblox for a while someone hacked a server and destroyed it while they destroyed it my computer suddenly went black and the screen was filled with digital roaches eating my screen and files and then the whole computer shut down and stopped working.
So yes Roblox itself does have viruses only when ppl send tht virus through the open servers of games on roblox. |

Lots of conflicting opinions but I don't see how you can get a virus but I bet it's possible. Any virus on my pc will get kicked were it hurts and sent packing.

No, just as downloading a game from the microsoft store on an xbox won't give it a virus.

Roblox itself cannot give viruses, but hackers ingame can so I suggest getting a good anti-virus

If you download free models there can be malicious content that can infect your place, but I've never heard of anything from free models that can take over your computer.

May I ask what anti-virus you have? It may be falsely flagging ROBLOX as a virus. Tell your mom that it's nothing to worry about because ROBLOX IS a safe, kids game.

Roblox cannot give you a virus. If you insert a free model that inserts something called Virus into your place, it is not an actual virus. Roblox cannot give you a virus.

I doubt Roblox has their servers set up so that hackers can send some random file to your computer. My guess is that it sends info about the bricks and players in the place and maybe also the player's inventory. Hackers probably just find a way to change the info about the bricks or players, but they cannot actually change a brick's property to a virus.

No, there can be in-game viruses that can just ruin your place from free models, but still, roblox does not cause viruses, I have been playing roblox since 2011. The only reason you might get a virus from roblox is from downloading an unofficial launcher from a random website, not from roblox itself. ;p
