unless you have ALL these traits/skills under your toolbelt you're going to die within the first 5 years
-farming -woodworking -hunting (and no just because you own a gun doesn't mean you know how to hunt) -physical endurance |

"I can farm,"
what have you grown on your own? like on your own, started from scratch
" I can work with wood"
building 2 or 3 things does not count
"I can hunt"
yeah i believe this
"I am in perfect physical shape and have physical endurance"
unless you can run a marathon... nah |

"what have you grown on your own? like on your own, started from scratch" My family owns 20 acres of property. 8 acres of it are Christmas trees that I help up-keep. 4 years ago I went to an field on our property, turned over the soil, and grew tomatoes and cucumbers. That plot is now over an acre and I successfully grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, zucchini, corn, pumpkins, gourds, rhubarb, sun flowers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus (though that would not be good to grow during a zombie outbreak since it takes two years to grow, and blue berries.
"building 2 or 3 things does not count" I can easily build shelter if that is what you mean.
"yeah i believe this" Good
"unless you can run a marathon... nah" I run track year round. I have done half-marathons before non-stop. I also bike...very far.

| The only thing I have out of those is physical endurance. Although I do have pretty good scavenging skills and I've been trained to handle most common melee weapons. |

"depends
in BULK?"
On my property I don't grow "in bulk" because I grow so many different types of plants in a rather small area. But it supplies my family through the year.
"define shelter" I can build a structure with walls on all sides and a roof that I would be able to cook, sleep survive the elements and defend myself in.

Wow, I thought people had moved on from the whole zombie apocalypse fad.
Also, there is this little thing called learning and adapting. It's not that hard to do.

"wow

"so a woodworker too?" I told you I built a shed out of trees I cut down. I have built a bunch of other thins around my property.

| why do we set up scenarios and statistics for things that can never take place because said scenarios rely on the existence of mythical and unreal creatures or monsters |

@Omgdsi- I never said without any help. I know plenty of people who can woodwork, hell, I'm friends with a professional carpenter. I used to dabble in growing food, I could probably do it and get fairly good at it. As for hunting, I have a crossbow that I'm decently accurate with, and I, again, know plenty of people who hunt. I could learn.

@omgdsi, if you work hard and a little luck, you can learn the bare basics needed to survive fairly quickly. All those things I said above (except for hunting), I am good at, but not a master.
