Roblox locked the most famous thread on the forums without reading it. Dumbest move, Roblox. -.- That's why I'm serious about this. Nobody wants to pay 100 tix or 10 robux for clothing. We didn't do anything to deserve this. Oh, that's right. Roblox gets paid by other sites to have THEIR ads posted on Roblox, just like FM radio. |

Instead of a price floor, a price roof, where the people who sell their limiteds at insane prices can't do that anymore.

ROBLOX is damn tricky to please.
Basically due to the absurd increase in clothing costs, lowering the price again would mess with the market big time. |

ROBLOX introduced the price floor so they could earn extra money. See, it costs them money for each server. They thought the price floor would prompt more users to buy builders club, however, it back fired.
- Users are now quitting because they have to walk around naked for 20 days before they can actually buy clothes. - Less people buy BC because it's not worth it, as the admins are bound to introduce more crazy features. - Clothing makers can't make money because no one can afford their clothes. - People can still copy clothes anyway.
I do, however, have tips on how to earn extra cash legitimately. - Create a decent game. This isn't hard, you just need to work out how to use controls (I'm still learning). - Make places for groups, as members of the groups will visit those places and for each visit, you earn 1 tix. - Sell gear at a place. Some of us (like me) have generous friends, who will buy that gear. - Make game passes. - Make your own clothes. I recommend Paint.net for this (yes it is free).
Basically, we've all just got to get on with our lives. At the end of the day, it's a game. I can buy nicer clothes from my local store than on here. (I can also just buy a fedora for a low price in real life.) |

@Sba
1. Not as simple as 1, 2, 3. Running a game requires no time, but making it for other people requires a lot of practice. 2. You need at least BC in order to advertise anywhere. Period. That statement of yours is therefore null. 3. Everyone's trying to get money, but not everybody's actually getting money. |

"ROBLOX introduced the price floor so they could earn extra money." What about other players? I don't see them getting any extra money. Players are what make Roblox a site, not just the money.
"See, it costs them money for each server." Oh, what's this? The server's PAID for by other sites posting their ads on Roblox. That's just how FM radio works. They get their money by other companies advertising their stuff on the station.
"They thought the price floor would prompt more users to buy builders club, however, it back fired." Of course it backfired. What'd you expect from a bad idea like the price floor?
"- Users are now quitting because they have to walk around naked for 20 days before they can actually buy clothes. - Less people buy BC because it's not worth it, as the admins are bound to introduce more crazy features. - Clothing makers can't make money because no one can afford their clothes. - People can still copy clothes anyway." All of that, I agree.
"I do, however, have tips on how to earn extra cash legitimately." ORLY? Let's see you try.
"- Create a decent game. This isn't hard, you just need to work out how to use controls (I'm still learning)." Not as simple as 1, 2, 3. Creating a decent game requires hard word and practice. Don't pull that trick.
"- Make places for groups, as members of the groups will visit those places and for each visit, you earn 1 tix." Again, it's not easy to make a decent place. It requires hard work.
"- Sell gear at a place. Some of us (like me) have generous friends, who will buy that gear." You still need to pay for that stuff.
"- Make game passes. - Make your own clothes. I recommend Paint.net for this (yes it is free)." You need BC or above to do that stuff, even if it's for yourself.
"Basically, we've all just got to get on with our lives." Not as simple as you think, pal. It's hard to get on with our lives when someone's breathing down our necks.
"At the end of the day, it's a game. I can buy nicer clothes from my local store than on here." That's because in real life, the customer always wins.
"(I can also just buy a fedora for a low price in real life.)" But this isn't real life, isn't it? |

@322 You mean this price roof? http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=135983552
Also, just admit the fact that Roblox is deaf. The sooner you do, the better off you'll be (kinda).

I know that Roblox is deaf. They've just decided to go against the majority of the community. Admins < community
Why would the admins say that they're looking for ways to help the players, when they're not lowering the price floor LIKE THEY SHOULD! |

No. It's not WNTS. It's only saying, "Help Robloxians afford clothes" And you think that's WNTS? |
