| A DS is a low-tech device. Why would it's games work fine on the DS itself but lag on a laptop? |

| Emulators don't run the games as good as the normal systems. (usually) |

depends what game you're trying to use
normally putting frameskip at 1 or 2 solves it |

| Make sure you set your emulator to use OpenGL instead of SoftRenderizer |
