Dear Roblox Users,
Today I write this forum to ask for an end to the Price Floor, to how it was when shirt creators could have their shirts at any price they felt suitable and when it was affordable.
The Roblox team lowered it to 100 tix minimum, but this IS NOT enough. Now they've given out a free set of clothes to new joiners? Still NOT enough. A standard group uniform, now takes 200 tix to buy, that is 20 days of logging in and playing games, just to get one set of clothes? What about people with 5, 10, 50 groups? They now have to spend, ridiculous amounts of money, JUST to buy virtual clothes, It's not right.
At the start roblox said they wanted to help clothing developers and increase their income. This has done the opposite, it's LOWERED their income. Here's why:
Before: A developer could have made a good set of clothes and sold them for 5 tix per piece(logging in for one day to get 10 tix to buy it) so this means that EVERYONE can afford to buy it allowing more people to buy it and therefore generate income. On top of this, it was possible to buy multiple sets of clothes in one day. The money generated by the developer might then be fed back into the economy, because he might say buy a set of clothes from a different developer, meaning that more money is in circulation in the economy. In terms of groups, while it would of required more purchases to accumulate the funds for a rank/ad those funds would of come in faster and at a greater number, because joining members could AFFORD to buy the uniform, rather than wait 10 days, meaning that if a group recruits say 200 people in a week, they can gain 1000-2000 tix in that one week, rather than having to wait a week and a half for the new members to purchase the uniform, and if they consistently recruit members, they have to consistently wait for the new members to be able to purchase the uniform.
Now: A developer makes a good set of clothes, and is FORCED to have it on sale for 100 tix at a minimum(Key point here it's SO RARE to see ANYTHING above 100 tix HINT HINT) so a user finds this set of clothes and decides to save up for 20 days to buy them, because he cant do anything else about it(except buying robux or BC and some people aren't allowed to do this) so while he's saving up, he might say find a different set of clothes he likes, and changes his mind to buy them. In this scenario, the other developer loses out. whereas before, in two days he could of bought BOTH sets of clothes, generating income for BOTH developers. Or if said person then joins a group, he instead spends that tix on the group uniform(assuming it has one which 99% of all groups do) and in this scenario, BOTH of the other two developers LOSE out, Decreasing the income generated for the developers, therefore harming the economy since it's rarer for someone to make money. In the case of the money going to the group, it will either be spent on more ranks(using the money, and getting a small amount out of it, and this still takes 10-20 purchases to afford ONE rank) or they use it for ads( requiring even MORE purchases because you need to spend a lot of tix/robux on one ad for it to be displayed a reasonable number of times). So what has actually happened is that roblox has decreased the amount of money in the economy, and hampered the ability for an entire portion of the economy(and a pretty big/important one too(Clothing)) to even have a chance at making a decent income. Not only this, They have also hampered groups, since a uniform is such a vital part of the group system(raiding(so you know who your team mates are), seeming like a part of the group, getting further into the group(HR Uni's etc))
I urge you roblox staff, Please reset the price floor, for the better of everyone.

The sad part about this is you waste your time posting this KNOWING ROBLOX will not lower price floors over on the THOUSANDS of threads like this. Vy2 |

| If enough people actually support this, and show to roblox that the price floor is doing the opposite of what they wanted it to do, they might do something about it, if you post that's it's pointless doing it, they aren't going to change anything. |

| I actually read it. I agree and I've signed hundreds of these but there's no reason to tell them anymore, they won't reset it. |

"If enough people actually support this"
Do you know how many people already support this? The only possible way they would even CONSIDER, is if EVERY SINGLE PERSON on Roblox supported it. Even then, I doubt they would remove it. The price floor isn't even that bad. A 10 day wait for the shirt or pants you want. It's not that long. The wait makes it more worth it in the end to have them. |

| The entire point of the thread, isn't about just how long it takes(even though it is a part, if you have 3 groups, and you need a uniform for all 3, do you wish to wait 2 months to be able to do that?) The actual point is that it is damaging the economy, not improving it, when the ORIGINAL PURPOSE of the entire price floor was to reward developers(I.e trying to help the economy) |

JuliusEpictetusDurus, but what I'm trying to point out is that you're one of the many people who pointed out the same thing(s) in a longer, very long version. I agree it's not helping the economy I'm not against you on what you're saying. Vy2 |

| This update was also suppose to help tix inflation. Because if anyone was going to buy a shirt in robux, it would be cheaper for them to just trade 7 robux into 100 tix, instead of buying it with 10 robux. And there are a lot of BC members that do trade the 7 robux into tix. Although it sure isn't helping as much as some would hope, it does slow down the tix inflation by a little. |

| @nick I understand many others have posted the same thing, but most were just "I don't like the price floor please remove it" here I tried to actually justify it/provide examples so to provide a reason to support the post or to remove the price floor. |

| The economy is not just inflation, If the developers have more money that they can then PUT BACK INTO the economy, the entire thing benefits as a result, here it's only a very limited no. of people who actually benefit. |

| and even so it's not helping anymore, because now 10 robux is worth about 160 tix, so really it hasn't done much to help, and rather made it worse. (30-60(7-100 now: 10-160) |

| Yes. Inflation isn't an easy thing to solve when everyone wants robux. One thing they could do to help the inflation is releasing more hats with tix instead of robux. Even though I'm sure that wouldn't even solve it, at least slow it down some. |

| This isn't the only detailed long version out there. You can try, but the change has been made months ago. Your support and these topic are dead. |

| It's not dead till it's been given up on, I don't plan on giving up unless a confirmation statement is released from roblox stating they will NEVER revert the Price Floor. |

| Well you're in luck. They have a confirmation saying that they will never revert the pricefloor. Did you read the "WNTS" thread? |
