there are a lot of posts about pc builds and whatnot so here's a thread for them. post your builds, questions, or suggestions.
any suggestions for mine that i'm building for my brother? i'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible since we're on somewhat of a tight budget.

@Quak
Not really.
Pre-built ones are either out-dated (spec-wise), or if you get somthing like alienware: overpriced
those are the two catagories pre-built fits in
overpriced, or outdated
Getting a custom one is the best "Bang for performance per dollar" |

| I don't need latest things anyway, I want newer games running on medium at least. I don't care about graphics. Plus, I don't want alienware. |

@quak
Alienware was just an example.
Many other companies out there that are overpricing their stuff on outdated things.
But sure, go ahead if you want a pre-built one.
I have a custom one, and I can run anything on the highest settings at 2K res with two of my GPUs. |

| @quake just build your own. there aren't many reliable companies that prebuild computers. they're generally overpriced and if you do some research on this you'll know which components would suit you best for whatever you plan on doing. |
