If I am to learn C++, at a college, not some for free site, would I also learn Lua as well, like I know C++ is an afvanced language so would Lua be in that category as well? My plan is to learn it and make a popular front pager game and use DevEx to kickstart my life and I'd like to build apps on the app store as well. So any answers would be appreciated. Thanks. And sorry if this is a tl;dr post, lol.

@Big, thanks, but, if I were to learn C++ first, would it then be easier to learn Lua?

I don't have that much experience in scripting, but from what I've heard, Lua is a good language to start off with. So I would suggest Lua first.
