fx-8320 radeon hd 7970 mobo: asus M5A99FX PRO R20
what would be the most grapics intense game it could play? |

That processor will be the same as mine. But my GPU will be the R9 270.
I know the 8320 with a slight OC and a R9 270 will run a smooth Ultra 1080p at about 50+ frames on average.

i have a 1680x1050 monitor, and i won't be upgrading for a while,
would that boost the fps somewhat? |

How's the Hz (I know most standard monitors are 60Hz).

It won't go over 60 frames with a 60Hz monitor.
At least from what I know.

Toms Hardware says this: "The answer is that your 60 Hz monitor cannot draw more than 60 frames per second."
But then again, it also says it's a little more responsive, but won't draw more than 60 frames.
