no, im suggesting that it's unrealistic an architect would say, "I'd like you see build a better house!"
for 1, it has bad grammar 2, it's ridiculously incorrect, as most architects, no, WORKERS, would never tell a customer that they don't care about something they made being wrong and 3, the term "I'd like to see you make a better game," makes sense because it's not this giant crap that you took it for

"i just woke up therefore this thread is invalid??? okay" valid point
"then why should people who buy a game for, say, 25$ which turns out to be crap be told "ID LIK U SE MAK BETAR GAME""
i think you're using it wrong if a person, let's say tom, makes a game and gives it out for free tom thinks his game was good a hater, named james, says it's bad
then the good guy, mike, says "I'd like to see you make a better game."
it's just saying that you can't really judge something if you can't make anything better
"what if a surgeon plays games to cool off after some stressful work??? should he make a game himself if he got ripped off with a game??? he saves lifes but noo he has no rights to call a game slightly worse than expected"
if he's gonna buy/play a game he could very easily look it up to see whether or not it's good. and a damn surgeon shouldnt be playing games in the first place.

"well if james has a busy job so he doesnt have the time to learn programming he has no right to call a free game bad"
if he had a busy job he wouldn't have time to play games stop contradicting yourself
"opinions are a thing also lets say the surgeon has a TINY bit of free time to relax just enough to play like one video game for 5 minutes but not enough to learn a programming language"
hmm, this is so long ill break it into bits
>opinions are a thing irrelevant
>lets say the [unnamed] surgeon has a TINY bit of free time to relax just enough to play 1 video game for 5 minutes why are you basing your argument on "what if" statements?
>but not enough to learn a programming language still, if he has 5 minutes he could research it in at least 1 minute and have 4 minutes to play it (or re-choose)
inb4 B.S. reason like "bad internets"

"i am not saying he completely does not have time
like the surgeon; 5 minutes would be enough to play but not enough to learn"
okay then?
"opinions are irrelevant ok ok" i was saying they were irrelevant to the conversation, as i didn't mention anything about opinions
"why do you have a problem with it???" yes, i do because it's complete fiction and very unrealistic
"do you believe someone can learn a programming language and then make a game using it if they only have 5 minutes of free time per day"
i was saying to take 1 minute to research about the game to see reviews if it's good or not dummy

"ive seen great games with bad reviews"
3 factors in reviews:
1. trolls
if there is a person who is completely different from all the other reviews, rating it like 0/10 or 1/10 for no reason, then ignore those reviews
2. opinion/word of mouth
an opinion can truly affect a review on a good game. whether it's good or not is your choice word of mouth is also an important factor as many may say it's good and more will try it out
3. majority and minority
if the majority of the reviews are 8, 9, or 10/10 then you can trust it's good if that is the minority, then simple don't play.

"people complaining about things being "unrealistic" are the kind of people who tend to hate on sandboxes because they dont follow all the laws of physics precisely"
so, because i say that i find it unrealistic, i'm boring?
"you said that in response to "but not enough to learn a programming language" so i assumed you were talking about that
sorry for making sense"
that was a lie, because i didn't say it in response to that
sorry for making sense
ALSO WHY ARE YOU STILL REPLYING IF YOU SAID THIS THREAD WAS INVALID

OP is hypocrite
for one, you could've easily explained this idea in the original post then this argument wouldnt have started moron
and using what if statements is like if you said "what if it happunz" i have a right to say "santa clause crashes into the post office and the world ends" it's fictional
most of your points are flawed or completely irrelevant to the argument
bah im done arguing with a fool like you goodnight
