I say yes, it brings down the new sword tecnique that came with the animation update, encouraging Classic styles of Swordfighting.
That's just my opinion though.
Hope to see replies!

| NO! Why change it? There was absolutely nothing wrong with sword fighting before. It is stupid and very annoying to those who have been sword fighting the other way for a really long time. If ROBLOX keeps the update, it would discourage many such as myself from actually even playing sword fighting games. I hate the update. |

| I quit sword fighting because of that stupid update. Until they change it, I'm done with sword fighting. |

If you don't know why they changed it, they changed it so that the humanoid can get better support so the humanoid can move more realistically while a force is applied to them.

Don't think people would like that.
Right now they don't like the new walk and jump animations I don't think they would like more update animations any time soon. |

@union,
I legitimately enjoy the new way we turn around. It just feels nice. The controls seem tighter/more precise imo. |

By that you mean you still haven't realized that when you lunge a sword you freaking freeze in place and ruin a crap ton of strategies for SF'ers and ruin advantages in sword obbies and slip on thin bricks for no apparent reason. This update is horrible. |

sword fighting has gone down the drain because new physics update
for every time you freeze in place every time you lunge, that's a split second away from unable to backstep to AVOID a lunge. backstepping is important in SF because you can move back to avoid a lunge |

| Freezing in place is a good thing. It adds an extra layer of commitment to striking and is a healthy change to the sword fighting system. I do agree that the loss of the special sword jump is unfortunate, but can be brought back by changes to the script. |

| If you want to talk about changes that break old games, a much better point would be the hopperbin deprecation that makes Rocket Arena unplayable. |
