| If I had a penny for every time a mod deleted a thread instead of moving it to the correct forum, I'd be a rich man. |

All Things ROBLOX is not your personal blog. It’s not a place to message other users. It’s not a place to talk about other users… or yourself.
Read the description of the forum: features, games, company news.
If it’s not about that – just don’t.
Just don’t post advertisements for your game, group, clothes, etc. etc. etc. Just don’t post your C&G announcements here. Just don’t post @ threads here. Just don’t post L2D threads here. Just don’t post “rate my look” posts here. Just don’t post “say something nice about the poster below you” here. Just don't post your personal arguments here. Just don’t post really random threads here. Just don’t post your spam here. Just don’t.
Get the idea? Features, games, company news. That’s it – if it doesn’t fit, take it to another forum.
In the past, we’ve moved threads that don’t belong in ATR to other forums where they might be more appropriate… in the (apparently vain) hope that posters would get the message and post future threads where they belong. Apparently that didn’t really work.
I’ve now asked the community and moderation teams to simply delete threads that don’t belong. So don’t be surprised when your misplaced post disappears. That’s your clue that it doesn’t belong in ATR (oh, and just don’t complain that your post got deleted).
Deleted threads, by the way, are subject to moderation… so a misplaced thread may lead to a warning… multiple deletions could bring more severe penalties.
Think about what you’re posting here in ATR. Let’s keep it a high-quality discussion. The less time our team members spend deleting, the more time they can spend participating.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
(I’ll leave this open for questions and comments – and let’s keep the conversation here, okay? Because if you’re thinking about posting an @chief thread to ask a question… just don’t.)
"to simply delete threads that don't belong."
I think the moderators got fed up with the off topic threads in ATR.

@Barged
They literally have to click their mouse twice and the thread is moved... I don't get it. I just don't. |

Not sure why your KL thread was deleted. Try PMing Gordon or Corgi or another moderator and ask why.

@op
You said "If I had a penny" which means you are not "receiving" but rather paying. |
