I'm going to be the first to say "Yes" 1. It is comparable to an i3 2. There will be budget Z97 boards released for this. 3. IT IS CHEAAAP 4. I said yes |

I seriously wouldn't recommend a Pentium for gaming. A good CPU match for the 750 Ti would be an i5 4430.

When you think about how it's a Pentium from 2014, and is equal to an i3 (some number I can't remember), then it's good.
If you are using an elementary school computer, no. Just. no.

The Pentium G3258 would no doubt bottleneck a GTX 750 Ti. According to everything I've heard, it is not suitable for gaming whatsoever. I really would suggest a quad core processor.

The G3258 is a modern redux of the Intel Pentium, designed for overclocking at a low price point. The diffrence between the G3258 and a Devils Canyon I3 is very small (no hyperythreading and lower base clock) and is almost half the price.

I wouldn't even recommend an i3 for a GTX 750 Ti.

The i3 is not meant for the 750 Ti.

I mean, if it was a regular GTX 750, you could probably get away with using an i3 4130 without bottlenecking, but definitely not with a 750 Ti.

If anything, a Radeon 7- series would be fine enough.
