NOTE: I got these PCs around the same time, so don't blame the Windows PC's age
1: It's Lighter
2: It has an aluminum body This may not seem much, but it really does help prevent the thing from overheating.
3: It does everything I need it to do It does everything I've thrown at it nicely My Windows PC will stutter, bluescreen, and crash when I open TF2.

@ieat 1. yeah, but they're beginning to get one upped and things are getting lighter-my chromebook is lighter than a macbook air 11 inch 2. yes, but i'm not sure if it actually prevented from overheating used to play tf2 on my mac, got more heated because heat+metal=nono 3. not sure why thats happening, but macs are pretty nice and reliable which is why people like them
good choice, hope you enjoy your mac |

@ieat wait, but does the aluminum body actually make the thing less hot?
i burned myself by touching my friends macbook air when he was playing LoL (not joking, but it's okay) |

@ieat trust me, he used to play in a beanie bag so he had the macbook air right on top of him, he had burns on his legs, etc the cooling that they used is pretty ingenius though, it works pretty well with the rubber hinge |

@Catboy My Alienware had fans in it Didn't stop it from frying a component and melting the back of it. |

You were probably over using it or using an intensive program.
You should really read spec requirements. |

@ieat well yeah, on a flat surface the cooling system worked wonders, you never heard the fan so i guess my friend used it wrong
cooling is definitely nice, but i'm not sure if the aluminium body does the trick
i think tehy use 2 fans, one to suck in air and one to blow out air
damn ingenious |
