| Is there any particular reason there has been an influx of overly defensive "brony bothering" threads today? |

I would pose a similar question to you, OP.
I'm sure men have contributed to the production of flower-scented perfumes. Does that make it any more appropriate for a man to wear the perfume? |

That answer feels like its tailored to support the OP.
In any event, the point is that the gender of people who contribute to a product doesn't necessarily indicate anything about the target audience, or who it is appropriate for. Just because men work on MLP doesn't mean that it's aimed at men, or appropriate for men to watch it. |

if it's a show for little girls, then it's definitely a special one. it has loads of creatures from mythology and demonic centaurs and explosions. |

Sure, I can say other things. It's just that, when it comes to discussing ponies, that is all I can say about the subject. |

I don't care for any of them. My not-caring of all of them is equal. |

I was thinking he could be called phoniex flash since that sounds more pony like. |

As long as you don't rub it in everyone's faces that it was based off me, it's fine. I don't want any negative publicity. |
