99% of bronies are not necessarily big fans of the show, but use it as a way to relate with other people, because they have no other normal/healthy interests or friends.
the show is no different than any other children's show. it teaches good values, sure, but so do any other 5 year old shows on Nick Jr. or Playhouse Disney. they don't relate to these because of the lack of a community.
bronies gather in large conventions, and it is just god awful. their behavior is undeveloped and all of them are socially awkward.

Darn
Seems like I'll have to argue against this one
99% of bronies are not necessarily big fans of the show, but use it as a way to relate with other people, because they have no other normal/healthy interests or friends. >You're assuming that 99% of bronies are like this without providing any evidence towards it
the show is no different than any other children's show. it teaches good values, sure, but so do any other 5 year old shows on Nick Jr. or Playhouse Disney. they don't relate to these because of the lack of a community. >I guess, but unlike a lot of these shows it's based less on learning basic skills (colors, shapes, etc.) and more on moral values
bronies gather in large conventions, and it is just god awful. their behavior is undeveloped and all of them are socially awkward. >Usually when I go to major anime/tv conventions, the homestuck and pokemon fans are FAR worse than the bronies >And I know plenty of non-socially awkward bronies |

why do you need proof for them being socially awkward,
and why do you like a show because of its moral values. whenever i hear people argue them liking the show it is because of the show's moral values, but they dont watch it for its moral values, they watch it because it is a way to relate themselves to other bronies.

@galax
Most of these are broad assumptions about the brony community
The only one that isn't is the second point, and even then it still can be argued against |

@trouble
why do you need proof for them being socially awkward, >I didn't say I needed proof of that >I said I needed proof that 99% of them aren't fans of the show
and why do you like a show because of its moral values. whenever i hear people argue them liking the show it is because of the show's moral values, but they dont watch it for its moral values, they watch it because it is a way to relate themselves to other bronies. >Usually the main reasons as to why people like it are because it's cute, teaches moral values, and funny
But as I said, different strokes for different folks |

" because it's cute, teaches moral values, and funny"
>teaches moral values

>cute

>funny

Do I have to say it again
Different strokes for different folks
People like different things, and if you hope to be a decent person then you need to accept this
While this video isn't directly about MLP, it provides some valid points-
