I have a custom tool system.
I select parts by: 1) Running an animation that points to arm forward in a loop 2) Welding the part to the arm
The problem is that sometimes, especially with large tools, the arm ends up pointing backwards/floating midair in some random locations.
Any reason for why it might mess up? It shouldnt be the tool welding to some random brick because I tried making it not align with any surfaces and it still happens.
I checked the Motor6D for the shoulder and it says DesiredAngle=0 CurrentAngle=1.57

Might be related to the mass of the object.
The animations might assume that the object you hold is smaller mass and that adjusting the weld affects that object.
However if the object is bigger the changes suddenly affect the character instead and not the object you are holding o,e |

| try to weld the arm up first, because if yu do that roblox cant really change the angle of it at all. |

But I use roblox animations to control the arm so I cant really mess with it.
I did manually weld it before but even then it sometimes had this problem.
It might be something I cant really fix tho. |
