The wire connects to one wall, then the other end connect to a contraption that connects to my TI-84+ graphing calculator. When you trip the wire, the calculator notices it, logs the time, then sounds an alarm (speakers hooked up through the I/O port).
So, let's say you put this in front of your door, when someone opens the door, an alarm will sound. |

I just like writing software when I'm bored, especially for the TI-84. I had a dream I made a tripwire program with the TI-84 so I decided to make it in real life. |
