Constitution of the Republic of Austria Verfassung der Republik Österreich ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Preamble - In order to preserve the Government of Austria, stability of the Social Order, and unity of the People we write this constitution in hopes future generations will keep it its laws. The guaranteed rights and laws written in this document must be protected by not only the government but the people. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter I - General Principals
Article 1: The Republic of Austria is the Federal Name, and is not to be disrespected.
Article 2: The sovereignty of Austria is fluid throughout the land, and all foreign decrees can be overruled by the government. Austrian Law extends its foreign bases and embassies, and all citizens and visitors are subject to Austrian Law.
Article 3: The Republic of Austria is a Federal Republic with a Parliament, Head of State, Head of Government, and a Cabinet.
Article 4: The State Language of Austria is the English Language, however the German language is allowed if a translation is provided for Police, Government, or other citizens. The National time of Austria is CST, as all elections and such will be on that time. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter II - Elections and Referendums
Article 5: The Austrian Government has elected positions that are chosen by elections. They are as listed: Chancellor, Federal Council President, Federal Council
Article 6: Citizens of the Republic are allowed to vote by a closed system of regulated voting. Voters are checked of their citizenship once their vote is sent.
Article 7: The Chancellor of the Republic of Austria is elected in a snap election every 4 months. The Chancellor must have served as a cabinet member or a federal council member for atleast a month. If no candidate gets over 50% in the first election the two highest candidates will then run against each other.
Article 8: The Federal Council of Austria is elected in a Party System. Parties right up a list of candidates, and voters vote for the party and however many seats the party gets, the same amount of candidates go in. Lists are visible. Every 3 months.
Article 9: The Federal Council President is elected by the Federal Council as the councils change. Can hold office for 2 terms unless otherwise stated by the Election Committee.
Article 10: Referendums are for issues the President decrees are not liable for the parliament only to decide. They are held for 3 days, on a weekend (Friday to Sunday). ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter III - Holder of the Republic of Austria
Article 11: The holder of Austria is the eternal holder and overseer of the Republic. The permanent owner of the Holder is the only one who can pick new users of it.
Article 12: The Holder has the right to Remove any Government Member if they are not fit for it.
Article 13: The Holder can give the President or the Holder all power if time of national crisis. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter IV - President of the Republic of Austria
Article 14: The President of The Republic of Austria is the Head of State, and protects the law and sovereignty of Austria. They're government duties are to appoint the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dismiss the Chancellor, with approval from the Federal Council, and Dismiss Chancellors.
Article 15: The President of the Republic of Austria appoints the Federal Police commissioner, Marshal of the Army, Director of ORF, and Director of Austrian Airlines
Article 16: The President holds an eternal term and cannot be impeached.
Article 17: The President is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
Article 18: The President has the right to manage the group however they please ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter V - Federal Cabinet of the Republic of Austria
Article 19: The Federal Cabinet of the Republic of Austria is headed by the Federal Chancellor, who appoints ministers and oversees the Ministries. They are the Head of Government and Second in Charge
Article 20: The Federal Cabinet of Austria is hereby made up of: Minister of Internal Affairs; Minister of Foreign Affairs; Minister of Defense; Minister of Immigration; and Minister of Finance ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter VI - Federal Council of Austria
Article 21: The Federal Council of Austria is made up of 9 Delegates, elected through a party-system. Headed by the President of the Federal Council, who is elected and given the same term as the parliament.
Article 22: The President of the Federal Council holds meetings, conducts votes, and sends bills to the President.
Article 23: The Federal Council holds the right to vote on bills, impeachment, and amendments to the Constitution. They hold no vote in crowing of ministers.
Article 24: The Federal Council holds a term of 3 Months, one month before the Chancellery. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter VII - Justice
Article 25: The Federal Courts of Austria have the right to suspend any law of the Federal Council for a review
Article 26:The Federal Courts of Austria reserve the right to prosecute any Citizen or tourist in Austrian land
Article 27:Everyone has the right of fair treatment until proven guilty
Article 28:The Government of Austria is treated the same as Citizens, aswell in impeachment cases ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter VIII - Armed Forces of Austria
Article 29: The Armed Forces of Austria is managed by the Marshal of the Army and the Minister of Defense. They are supposed to defend the nation at all costs.
Article 30: Raids and such cannot happen without the Commander-in-Chief's Approval. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter IX - Federal Police of Austria
Article 31: The Federal Police is managed by the Commissioner of Police, a role appointed by the President.
Article 32: The Federal Police have the right to enter government buildings
Article 33: The Federal Police of Austria have the right to arrest anyone with evidence of the crime ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Chapter X - Amendments
Article 34: The Federal Council holds the right to amend the constitution
