tl;dr: Add a way for users to create custom fonts to place in Guis.
I think it would be nice to be able to apply custom fonts to Text Guis. A possible way it could work:
First, allow users to upload a font file, such as TrueType, the same way they would upload an audio file or a decal. Like other user-created resources, uploaded fonts would go through moderation before they could be used. Custom fonts could be either usable by anyone (like audio) or usable only by the uploader (like animations).
Then, add a "CustomFont" property to TextLabel, TextButton, and TextBox. A user could set the "CustomFont" property to the asset ID of an uploaded font. This would override whatever the "Font" property is set to, and cause the text to show up in the custom font that is selected. (If the "CustomFont" property is set to an invalid value, the "Font" property will be used instead.) |

"First, allow users to upload a font file"
i disagree with that part it should be like this: user joins game, instead of original loading pharses there should say "Downloading [font name here].ttf and a progress bar near it. this is like joining a game server with custom content you dont have

| I like dinoy's way better. I'd make the Pricedown font from GTA and the Price is Right. Support! |

| The only problem with this is that different letters take up different lengths, for example; W is a longer letter than I. You'd have to know those lengths, and you'd probably have to make a character for each character, like Periods, Commas, Exclaimation marks, Brackets, and all those other things. |

| @thanedev: It's true that creating your own font is a bit tricky. For those up to the challenge, more power to you. But I'm thinking more along the lines of adding premade fonts like Times New Roman and Comic Sans MS. |

I support this wholly.
I'd love to see more uses of fonts instead of uploading sentence fragments or phrases as decals. It would make things significantly easier for some devs who have lots of text in their games.
Also, this would make it possible for a certain talented developer to make the classic Roblox chat client again. The one with Comic Sans. *Squeals* |

| I completely support this, and it seems that you put some thought into how it would be implemented. I see no problem from the roblox dev side, as it would be a minimum on storage, also, if there are moderators checking to see that there are no repeats, it would be fantastic. So, all in all, I am supporting this, and I see the only issue is adding a program to convert a file to make each font work, but, hey, once it's made, it could work for any file. They could require it to be a new file type, such as a *.fnt file, which is then converted to a file any computer can see. So, I do not see the harm in it for the devoted people to make them. I support this. |

| Constant Support. Having a choice of 3 fonts is extremely limiting. Plus the Font Size limitations make it hard to achieve some really neat things. |

Support, but there would be need to be moderated because some fonts can be a bit you know.
