say if you're prepping for like a 100m freestyle,
how would you workout for that? just do 100m freestyle 3 times and take rests in between and do it 3 times a week or what? what would a 'swimming' workout consist of? |

| For the 100m freestyle, just practice not wasting you energy at the begining, but rather get faster as the event goes on. So, what you said, keep on doing 100m. Take a 1 minute break between each for as long as you can, then start taking 2 minute breaks. Try to do about 10 per day of swimming. It will help your stamina. Otherwise, just work on diving and freestyle. |
