Since the updates released on the 12th of June 2014, my game 'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3' has been subject to many obscure issues.' I've been studying these issues relentlessly to try and narrow it down as much as possible in the hope that one of the updates in the change-log for said date can be fixed.
I'll go through the 'rules' of this issue.
1. slightly irregular intervals, the game stops networking other players actions and the alterations made to the map.
2. If something is added to the map locally, and added to debris locally, during periods of 'pause' the items will stay on the map until the game 'unpauses'. During this time, you can locally keep creating these changes.
3. Objects created locally stay until lag ends, BUT objects added to debris wait for the server to u-npause and appear at once, most likely as :Debris relies on the servers 'okay' before initiating.
4. During 'pause' periods, if you try to pick a character in the character selection GUI, the script will run fine until you make reference to an external object (cloning and welding Kunai from Lighting folder / cloning and parenting hats from SoundService folder.) At this point, the GUI will pause and wait for the server to start relaying information, and then somehow break due to the large period.
5. Despite the break, the GUI will still teleport you after the 'pause' ceases, but will not weld the kunai to your hand or continue the rest of the script (Giving you characters hats, 2.0 body, Tool.)
6. If you die during the 'pause' period, you will only respawn after the 'pause' has ended'

| @3. I meant to say if the object is destroyed locally too, it will not wait for lag to unpause. This includes physics and parenting bodyvelocity locally. It doesn't need to wait for the server to determine the physics. |

| Thats a ROBLOX update that broke the game to make it lag. Make sure every script is up to code. |

I also kind of having the same problem as you:
When I go to Build Mode, when I equip the Stamper Tools/Build Tools, there is a delay of a few seconds. When I add or delete objects either ways, there is also a delay of a few seconds. When I throw away a gear or hat, there is also a server delay of a few seconds.
When I mean a few seconds, somewhat 5-15 seconds of freezing/program not responding issues. |

| Interesting, thanks DukeCarl. I haven't found many games with the same issue. It's good to here others have the same issue :o |

| So we know it's not just you, also, interesting little fact, I made it so in my personal server games I could receive basic tools in addition to building tools, these included the models I made of Orihime Inoue's "Shunshun Rikka" one is a hopperbin while the others are welded like a basic katana would be. However, it doesn't give them to me, AT ALL, even when I enter the command "give me all" I don't receive the tools nor do I morph into the morph I have created. I literally found this out yesterday and I didn't bother to tell you but after hearing what problems Carl has, I thought it might help to bring it up. |

| I have not had the huge lag spikes like choji unleashed,but i have had problems were the scripts are not finding my character or finding my int values,it would say things like ;line 54 erro Torso is not a valid member of Model.I did fix my problem by adding long waiting times like 4 seconds.Roblox should be running alot faster than it is,we should not have to work around there updates.They should be updating around us. |

Couldn't have said it better. In general I don't experience lag, but they really need to look more into their updates before releasing them. It seems every time they update we get tons of problems. They need to at least write what changed, how to fix them etc. |
