| I am completely new to writing script. I can probably read some script and tell what it means but that's about it. I'm a tech savvy guy and I would like to take up this experience. Is there a good place I could start? |

The ROBLOX Wiki (http://www.wiki.roblox.com/), the official Lua documentation (http://www.lua.org/manual/5.1/), and trial and error.
I would argue trial and error is the absolutely most important step to learning, because you figure things out for yourself and see why things work. Now, I'm not saying go ahead and try to make a game when you have no knowledge, but don't be afraid to try something because you think it won't work. Instead, try it and find out why it doesn't work then understand how to make it work. |
