Alright, it's going to be hard, but I came really, really close with Azuren to complete this. It was in the workshop for about three or four months before it was given up. It was very long and complex, but most of the information won't be shown on the thread, which means it won't be terribly long for you guys, and shouldn't be that long.
Take a game like Skyrim. Awesome, right? You have things about it that make it what it is.
1. Characters, named and you can talk to them with a good choice of choices. MINE: There will be characters, and have a mentality. [Sarcastic, depressed, etc] This allows you to ask them anything.
2. Weapons, leveled with you and material to make it. You use these weapons to brain people with for lots of damage. MINE: Mine essentially adds a lot of material [like 16], which means you need to be constantly upgrading.
3. Enemies, enemies to kill and fight and destroy. MINE: Well, it's just that.
4. Quests, lots of them to provide direction. MINE: For the first time I've ever seen on the RP forum, there will be quests. Plotted out, thought out, w/e. There will be a main quest line, guild quest lines, side quests, and dungeon quests. I'm aiming for around 60/70 quests, which makes it INCREDIBLY massive. You really do have a big chance to do things in it, and each path it's own. Most will be set, but for side quests, anything can happen in those.
5. Character Building, allows you to customize and build your own character, however you want. MINE: With a simplified stat system and a very easy leveling system, adding perks or more abilities is a snap. I've used it to moderate success, but never pefectly. I'm hoping with a controlled environment, it should be easier to set up and maintain. I'm not finished tweaking with it, and I probably will still be tweaking with it for as long as anything goes on.
6. Cities/Towns/Dungeons, all mapped out and allow you to explore. MINE: Will have just that.
A few other things to note..
You are not fighting in a purely medieval world. You are fighting on a rebirth of Earth, a cause of something long forgotten. It's very medieval tech, but with magic incorporated. This magic has been permanently outlawed, and never fully understood how it was gained. This magic created many races, a few which are civilized and considered equal with humans. It also created many enemies, which in turn led to many differing ideas of what you could get, why you were doing it, and to spur on a greater need to build better weapons. Cities and towns are now very fortified from this, and you can find some totally destroyed.
Anyone like this idea? |

Bit more information
The main quest revolves around how the world got to this place. The place is called Isle of the Plains, or if you want, you could call it the North East part of Texas. As far west as Dallas, far south as Houston, with as far east as Tyler, that's roughly your map area.
There's a few new areas, and I'm just plotting out the bases [essentially radiation shelters, vaults if you prefer] and cities. |

It seems a little difficult to keep up with for the creator/admins, but if you're going to go through with it, save me a spot. |

With three threads, it shouldn't be too difficult. At least, I'm thinking three threads. If it turns out to be easier, I'll probably allow six.
Cities mapped out, roads done, bases placed on map. Now to figure out dungeons... |

(edit of post above) Mark out "Is it because I don't have over 2k posts?" part. Instead; Is it because I don't make OOCs'?

Oh, OK, thanks. I'm just fed up that no one even considers joining it when I post it, but then Mark posts a OoC for it and everyone jumps in on it. Really... REALLY... ticks me off.

If you want a honest answer, I think people know I can deliver on an ISRP, so when they see something like this, they've got a fair chance of seeing it happen. While you, some probably haven't joined an ISRP of yours.
If that makes any sense. |

| It's interesting but it seems like it'll take more than a few people to manage. |

| I've ran a more complex one by myself. Honestly, a lot of it is just information. The bit of stats I have to do is going to be very, very hard at the start, but then incredibly easy. |

| True but already seeing the hype for this, you're going to be managing 70 quests for around 5-6 people, since I myself am interested as well. The stats, yes will be easy as time goes, but I think it's the basic quest and map management for players that will be harder without a team. |

Quests will be simple.
THE FATE OF THE RP
details
>HIS HAND >HER HAND >THREE SECOND
so you can only have one open and focus on that.
Map is very easy to cross reference.
Probably will only accept 3ish joiners, so there's that. If I really need help, it will just be a delay with me crunching numbers. |
