@gaomon
they dropped there "stock defenses" (whatever that is), so if a company like nintendo or sony buys a large amount of stock from the capcom shareholders, they can takeover the company
i only know anything about stock because fortune street

Now that is more believable. I believe Sprint and NBC had that happen to them when they were obtained by a Japanese company and Comcast respectively. |

| Why would anyone WANT Capcom right now? Just buy their more successful IPs and call it good. |

| If they do get bought, I see Level-5 or Nintendo getting them. |

@Gao I honestly cannot see the big N taking a risky move like buying a company right now. Especially one like Capcom.
They're in hot water as is. |

@Spiro The reason I named Nintendo was because of the many Capcom titles (mainly ports for Virtual Console) I've seen in the eShop lately. |

| So I can see Nintendo wanting some interest in Capcom, whether it be agreements to publish exclusively on WU/3DS or buying their IPs or buying them outright. |

@Gao There's no doubt that Nintendo will be interested in Capcom's intellectual property, especially Megaman and Phoenix Wright who fit very well into Nintendo's identity, but at the same time, Capcom as a whole has a poor reputation, along with its newer products and IPs. Given that Nintendo is already in hot water as is with the Wii U, buying them out would be a big risk, and for what? To hire more game developers? |

Nintendo is not doing poorly financially even they'd sort out Capcom's devs quite well meaning little DLC at least as of right now better quality games etc.
