| kinda makes a dupe glitch in my game. can i disable it? |

| I think it's a core function of the same game. My best suggestion would be rather than using hats, just create parts w/ the hat's mesh, weld them to the character's head, and voila: the parts won't register as hats, but would still function as hats, if you know what I mean. |

the hat has vector3 values that make it easier to set their position
how would this now translate without a hat instance? |

When a hat leaves the character parent it back!
character.ChildRemoved:connect(function(it) if it:IsA("Hat") then it.Parent=character end end) |

| Well, the only thing I could think of would be perhaps disabling the controller on a person in the first place, and emulating one? Perhaps. I'm not sure. |

yah the problem is in my game i equip the bandana, then remove it with "=" but it stays in the equipment, then you can unequip and reequip it to be wearing another.
it actually wont save the duped hats after they disconnect because it doesnt add it into the equipment frame, so it might actually not be so bad |
